Friends of the Children helps the most vulnerable youth–those who have a diminished chance for success–grow into strong, self-confident, contributing members of their communities.

• 85% of our program graduates earned a H.S. diploma or GED, compared with the national graduation rate of 69%.*
• 90% of our adolescents who graduated also avoided involvement with the criminal justice system, despite at least 60% having one parent who has been incarcerated.
• 95% of adolescents who graduated from our program avoided early parenting, despite at least 60% having been born to a teen parent.
