Friends of the Children helps the most vulnerable youth–those who have a diminished chance for success–grow into strong, self-confident, contributing members of their communities.

• 82% of our program graduates earned a H.S. diploma or GED, compared with the national graduation rate of 69%.*
• 92% are not involved in the juvenile justice system, despite at least 60% having one parent who has been incarcerated.
• 98% of adolescents in our program avoid early parenting, despite at least 60% having been born to a teen mother.
